Technicolor Group Compliance Training was a global initiative designed to reinforce a culture of security, trust, and respect across Technicolor and its renowned creative brands—MPC, The Mill, Mikros Animation, and Technicolor Games. From Data Privacy and Cybersecurity to Policy and Sexual Harassment Training, these scalable, mandatory learning programs ensured every employee understood and adhered to critical regulatory, ethical, and operational standards. The training was built to meet legal requirements, manage organizational risk, and preserve client trust in Technicolor’s ability to protect high-value creative content and intellectual property.

With 6000+ employees in 11 countries, training needed to be locally compliant while maintaining global consistency. Content had to reflect region-specific legal requirements, such as the UK’s evolving harassment laws.

As a leading creator of high-value content, Technicolor’s reputation relied on safeguarding client assets. Training needed to instill security-first thinking to meet client expectations for content protection.
Mandatory Compliance, Engaged Learners
While mandatory, the programs couldn’t be dry or checkbox-driven. Engagement strategies like monthly microlearning on phishing and security topics helped reinforce learning year-round.

With a growing number of organizational policies, training ensured employees understood and accepted their responsibilities annually, reducing the risk of accidental breaches or misconduct.

Data Protection Training
Delivered annually in partnership with the Data Protection Office, this training focused on secure handling of personal and client data. It reinforced legal responsibilities under GDPR and other regulations, ensuring employees played an active role in safeguarding sensitive information.
Policy Training
Employees completed annual training and attestation for critical policies including acceptable use, social media, information access, physical security, and more—ensuring a shared understanding of expected behavior and accountability.
Sexual Harassment Training
Designed to meet the UK’s 2024 legal requirements under the Worker Protection Act, this training helped new hires and employees recognize, prevent, and report harassment, fostering a workplace culture of respect and safety.
Cybersecurity Training
A structured cybersecurity training program was developed to address key topics such as phishing, password security, remote work best practices, and threat awareness. Designed for monthly delivery, the program aimed to build digital resilience and proactive security habits across Technicolor’s global workforce.

Developed in collaboration with Technicolor’s Data Protection, Government Compliance, and HR teams, the curriculum was built through close partnership with subject matter experts. This process included developing training outlines, video storyboard concepts, and roadmapping and scheduling content production. Delivered through the corporate LMS for global consistency, training was assigned to all new hires, repeated annually, and updated as needed to reflect legal or organizational changes.

Technicolor’s compliance programs were delivered through a open source centralized corporate LMS, designed to support a diverse, worldwide workforce. The platform enabled seamless training delivery, reinforced consistency across regions, and ensured every employee—from new hires to long-standing staff—had access to the knowledge they needed to stay compliant and aligned with organizational standards.
